beeee-a-youtiful.

Wow- it's been a crazy year! But my University year is officially over! Meaning, more time for blogging! It was an amazing year, and included a week-long service trip to New Orleans, which was absolutely perfect, pictures at the end of this post, because I just can't resist! I absolutely fell in love with the city, the people and the culture there! I also picked up some polishes there (I know, I know, surprising right?!) which I will be posting in the next couple days!
Anyways, on with things!
I found these polishes yesterday and just couldn't resist! There are 6 (I think) in total, but I just picked my top 3 for now, I suspect I may go back for a couple others. They're glittery, duochrome, and beautiful. Also, a little hard to photograph in their full glory :P.

Wet N Wild "Speak When Spoken to" 3 coats
It's a nice blue at one angle, and then pink/purple in another, although in these pictures it just looks silver! It has gold, red, green, blue, purple and silver mini hex glitter through it, and then blue and purple microglitter! I love these!

And, as promised.. New Orleans! So much love, I definitely need to go back, very son.

glitter nails

Day seventeen of the 31 Day Challenge, glitter nails!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Nails "Rockstar Pink" 3 coats
This polish is extra glittery, it has a gold microglitter and then slightly larger blue, pink and red glitter.

violet nails.

Day six of the 31 Day Challenge, violet nails!

My clematis :)

I had this manicure on yesterday, as yesterday was violet day, I just didn't get a chance to post.
This is another untried of mine and frankly, I don't know why! I absolutely love it.
However, with more than one coat (I did 3) The glitter gets covered in the purple base and then just looks like bubbles. Next time, i'll paint my nails purple first and then 1 top coat.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Nails "Purple FIesta" 3 coats

The little sticks in this polish (most noticeable on my index finger) are holographic and beautiful but there's definitely not enough of them!

strobe lights & disco balls

Ahhh! No words can describe the immense amount of love I have for this beautiful, holographic, sparkly, glittery beauty. I probably wouldn't wear it alone, but I absolutely needed to show off this beauty. The second picture is intentionally blurry to show off the holographic beauty of this lovely new friend of mine. :)

Sally Hansen Xtreme Nails "Strobe Light" 4 coats.

THEN, because this color was irresitable, I decorated it a little bit. However, when I was removing this.. I realized I took no pictures, SO i quickly redid it on one hand just to show off. The dots were much more even the first time, but you get the idea.

Base: Sally Hansen Xtreme Nails "Strobe Light" 4 coats
Dots: Revlon Scented "Bubble Gum" 2 coat
Dots are done with a bobby pin, because I lack a dotting tool.

random manicure.

So, I had an idea in my head and I tried it on paper, it just didn't work out. So, not being able to decide on a design, I just did a bunch of random ones.
First, a base coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri "Mint Sprint". This is ONE coat, the formula of this polish is amazing.

Then, I added one coat of "CHARMING", I got it for Christmas and I *think* the brand is The Color Institute, but there's no brand on the bottle.

Then, a coat of OPI Black Shatter on my ring finger.

Followed by various nail art done with Kiss Nail Art Polishes in black and white.
On top of that, two coats of Wet N Wild "Party of Five Glitters"
