striped nails

Day twelve of the 31 Day Challenge, striped nails!
I don't really like stripes, I don't like to do them, don't like to wear them, don't like em. But, I promised I'd do this challenge, so I will oblige!
I've been without wireless internet for the last few days so i'm gonna have to catch up now, although, I did do the manicures on their intended days!

As you can tell, it looks terrible. :|, this one was just uninspired and didn't last long.

Turquoise: Finger Paints "Tiffany Imposter" 2 coats

Purple" Wet N Wild "Bite the Bullet" 2 coats

Day ten of the 31 Day Challenge, gradient nails!
I think it turned out alright, for a first try at least!
I'm confident that with a little practice I could nail this one better.
I only did this on one hand for now because i'm gonna remove it and try again.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Deep Purple"

Nicole by OPI "Prized Posession Purple"
Wet n Wild Wild Shine "Hallucinate"

I did this really roughly because I just wanted to try it out, next time i'm gonna do it much straighter and stay a little further from the cuticle.

Day six of the 31 Day Challenge, violet nails!

My clematis :)

I had this manicure on yesterday, as yesterday was violet day, I just didn't get a chance to post.

This is another untried of mine and frankly, I don't know why! I absolutely love it.

However, with more than one coat (I did 3) The glitter gets covered in the purple base and then just looks like bubbles. Next time, i'll paint my nails purple first and then 1 top coat.

The little sticks in this polish (most noticeable on my index finger) are holographic and beautiful but there's definitely not enough of them!

grape icy

This is a swatch of the polish I was talking about yesterday.
It's from Revlon's Scented collection and is called Grape Icy. It's VERY sheer on the first coat but covers fairly well afterwards. This is four coats but I think I could of gotten away with three.

Much like "Mad About Mango", i'm not sure how likely I am to wear this polish again, at least not without nail art or a top coat.
